At the Ulster Schools Championship held at the Grove Pool on Saturday 12th January 2008, the Swimming Club met with considerable success.

In individual events Sarah Bamford and Luke Campbell both secured 2 Gold medals, while John Coulter and Kouroush Abelehkoob both won 2 Bronze medals each. Jamie Knight also won a Bronze medal.

In the Relay events, the Junior Boys Relay Squad won the Medley Relay and was placed second in the Freestyle Relay. The squad comprised John Coulter, Kouroush Abelehkoob, Chris Coulter, Christian Bennison and Alister Johnston.

The Intermediate Boys Relay Team won both the Medley and Freestyle Relays and comprised Luke Campbell, Jamie Knight, Ben Alford and Chris Linden.

Congratulations to all involved. Ten swimmers in all qualified for the Irish Championships to be held in Galway in February.
