Dear Parent/Guardian Your son/daughter has been timetabled for Learning for Life and Work classes this year, as part of the changes undertaken in the revised curriculum. As some of you may be wondering what they have been undertaking in these classes, it is with this in mind that the LLW team have organised an LLW day on the 20th June to reinforce and celebrate the main components of LLW- Citizenship, Employability and Personal Development. This programme is designed to give you greater insight into the activities and lessons that your son/daughter has been involved in with their peers and also to emphasise one of the key elements of the revised curriculum, reflection or review of learning. Consequently, your son/daughter will be assessing the exercises they do on the LLW Day and you will be able to see some brief indication of some of the lessons undertaken. Please click on the right hand menu to learn more about the type of subjects covered by LLW. If any parent/guardian feels that they can contribute to the Citizenship and Employability programme, please get in contact with the College. Yours faithfully John Foster Citizenship Co Ordinator
