The Heritage Centre was opened in 1997. The transfer of the A & D Office to the Centre in 2004 has produced a considerable increase in visitor numbers. The Office is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Centre and for the content of both permanent displays and temporary exhibitions. The most important exhibition held in the 2004/05 academic year, to coincide with the annual Remembrance Service, was entitled Remembrance - Methody at War. The main emphasis was on those from the College who gave their lives in the Great War. There was also a display that covered World War II.
Smaller exhibitions are also put on throughout the year, usually at short notice. An example of this was a display mounted for the 1954/55 and 1973/74 1st XV teams which called in at the Heritage Centre as part of the reunions they were holding.
