Grammar School Fees All pupils are required to pay the capital fee stated above, and are asked to make a College Fund Payment. Parents will be notified of the amount at the beginning of the academic year (2007-2008: £350 - £450). This payment is vital to offset the shortfall in funding from the Department of Education and allow the College to continue its current level of varied and high quality educational activities. Tuition fees (where payable) cover all ordinary school charges, e.g. tuition, games and laboratory costs, but NOT books, stationery, instruments, trips, etc. Payment of Fees At the start of the academic year, an invoice will be raised for the total amount payable. Details of payments options will be provided which will facilitate the spreading of payments over the three academic terms. The Board of Governors requires the withdrawal of any pupil for whom fees are not paid following due consideration by the Principal. Note of Withdrawal A parent wishing to withdraw a child from the college MUST give, in writing, one term's notice, concluding with the end of a College academic term, otherwise fees for one term in lieu of notice will be payable. |
